Here at TOM onsite Chair Massage, we use a mixture of Shiatsu, Swedish and Trigger point therapies, to encourage your bodies to release more of your happy hormones, i.e. Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and endorphins.
This also lowers your stress hormone, cortisol!
Scientific proof = *Cortisol decreases and serotonin and dopamine increase following massage therapy - PubMed (nih.gov)
*In studies in which cortisol was assayed either in saliva or in urine, significant decreases were noted in cortisol levels (averaging decreases 31%). In studies in which the activating neurotransmitters (serotonin and dopamine) were assayed in urine, an average increase of 28% was noted for serotonin and an average increase of 31% was noted for dopamine. These studies combined suggest the stress-alleviating effects (decreased cortisol) and the activating effects (increased serotonin and dopamine) of massage therapy on a variety of medical conditions and stressful experiences.*
Our massage routine at TOM has been designed specifically to increase productivity. We do this by using pressure point therapies to release the tension in your muscles allowing fresh oxygenated blood to circulate. This removes brain fog and gives a boost to your body.
Yes, you will feel relaxed after a massage but once the blood circulates you will feel refreshed and raring to go

*Employees receiving chair massage also had an increase in speed and accuracy in completing math equations. The brain’s ability to function more effectively combined with a decrease in anxiety and increase in feelings of contentment and well-being can result in improved job performance.
We realised how difficult it would be to leave your desk and immediately stop thinking about that next call, email or meeting, so we enlisted the help of our good friend and strategic partner, Karen Farrell.
She has devised a 5-minute mindful meditation that we incorporate into all our chair massage events, and it works!
Combining mindfulness with massage can have long-term benefits for your overall health. When paired with the physical benefits of massage, the combination can lead to a significant boost in both physical and mental health
Scientific proof =*Neuroscience Reveals the Secrets of Meditation's Benefits | Scientific American
*The goals of meditation, in fact, overlap with many of the objectives of clinical psychology, psychiatry, preventive medicine and education. As suggested by the growing compendium of research, meditation may be effective in treating depression and chronic pain and in cultivating a sense of overall well-being.
Did you know? (According to Indeed), The time to train a new employee will take from 6 months to a year and over, depending on their role!
Imagine the costs involved for the other team members supporting your newbie! Not to mention the time away from their own work!
They could also feel very frustrated by this, especially is it happens often!
Again, from Indeed, to replace a new employee will cost between 3 to 6 months of their salary, and that’s if you can find someone good enough to replace them!
Surely the best way is to keep your talent with you, and not let them go to your competitors!
