Hello, my name is Paula and I am a qualified Beauty and Massage therapist with over 40 years of experience.
I hold diplomas with ITEC and CIBTAC, and am a member of BABTAC as well as a Mental Health First Aider.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in prestigious health spas, being promoted to Salon Manager, and managing Beauty Salons on various Cruise liners with Coiffeur Transocean.
While my children were young, I also ran a mobile massage business.
However, due to developing an allergy to essential oils, I had to change careers. I found that I enjoyed recommending products to clients, which led me to sales.
After working my way up to becoming a telesales training manager, I eventually fell into recruitment.
It was during this time that I realized the amount of pressure, computer use, and strain on our bodies was not good for our well-being.
That's when I had an epiphany - chair massage is over clothes and does not involve the need to touch essential oils or potions!
In February 2020, I took the drastic step of handing in my notice to set up The Office Massage.
We were not expecting to have the Covid pandemic of course. Naturally, this slowed us down somewhat- but eventually after 2 years, we were back in business and providing a very needed service! So much so, that we evolved into The Office Massage (TOM) Ltd. We now provide onsite well-being and hands-on chair massage to a large number of companies. These are based in Central London, Greater London and the south of England. With growth potential to eventually cover the whole of England.
